These days business people and entrepreneurs are seeking ways to be more productive and save time.
One of the ways that they can do this is to research and find the best voice recognition software they can. This technology has come a long way in the past few years.
In this article will explore the benefits of this type of software and try to help you decide whether it's something you should invest in or not.
How does voice recognition software work?
You download and install the software to your computer then you speaking to a headset microphone and you give commands to your computer, create text documents while speaking, and carry out many editing functions.
I have personally used voice recognition software in the past and it has not been entirely accurate. Why has this changed?
The technology has changed significantly, one of the major improvements being the ability to actually train the software within initial training and a long-term training. By reading a passage from a book that the software has in its database it matches your tone, speed, volume, pitch, and even your accident to the words that it has in its database.
Once the software recognizes the relationship between your voice and the words that it knows you are supposed to be saying then the software learns and becomes more accurate.
What are the main benefits of the software?
Obviously the biggest benefit is the ability to create content quickly; much faster than typing that's for sure. In fact, no matter how fast you speak, as long as you are fairly clear in your diction the software will always keep up.
The last time I checked no one I know can type CCL words a minute. But it is quite easy to say 250 words a minute.
The software also allows you to do commands such as save documents, advanced formatting, move the cursor around the page, open and close programs, do spell checks, and many other global commands that work for many programs.
Try to picture it like a program on top of another program, it helps you to use each piece of software more quickly and easily than before.
One of the biggest benefits is the ability to create what we call custom commands. For example; if you had a section that you needed to repeat over several documents such as your signature, you could simply say something like this, "insert signature".
The software would then take your name address title and anything else that you would want to put in there and paste into the document. I know that it is possible to cut and paste using keystrokes but it takes much longer because you have to search for the original content and then use keystrokes to cut and paste.
As a marketing tool, voice recognition software can easily enhance your productivity while saving time.
Education-based marketing is becoming the marketing language of the 21st-century. Informing people, getting them excited, building curiosity and creating content that helps people make better decisions is a highly effective way to grow your business.
It goes without saying at this point that voice recognition software can help you create blogs, web pages, voice over scripts for video, articles and many other information-based documents that you need to promote your business.
The interesting thing about this article is that I am actually using voice recognition software to create this very article, and I did it in under 5 min.
