Semester break for those students that are not too privileged in life seems to be similar from their stints in school. Ironically, they are not really done with school projects, assignments, quizzes or lots of
custom essay. Their supposed free time isn’t free at all since they still need to work. Instead of reducing their time to accommodate fun and enjoyable activities, they resort in rendering overtime to be able to earn more.
But then, one should not deprive himself. Though you need to work, you must know how to enjoy too. Being fed up or burn out on a particular thing isn’t good at all. You still need to have some free or pampering time. And what type of activities can you engage yourself?
Watch a movie – this will not require too much time. This can be done even after work or during your rest days. It doesn’t necessarily have to be in a cinema as it would not really be economical and might take too much of your time, from preparation to travelling, etc. Just go to your favorite video rental shop and grab your faves!
Visit a best friend – one of the best ways to de-stress is to be with the people you love and trust. A friendly talk doesn’t have to be in a coffee shop or cozy restaurant. Best friends hang out despite of time or budget constraints. Just go to his or her place then cook your favorite instant noodles (which is a lot cheaper!). Avoid talking about book report anymore. Remember it’s your bonding time!
So, though you’re working and do not have much money, it doesn’t mean you can’t be happy and ecstatic anymore over the thought of semester break. Just awaken your creative mind. Life is not about work or essay alone. It is a road to be travelled happily.
