Five men were arrested Wednesday after stealing nearly $1,500-worth of
uggs on sale from J.T. Murdoch Shoes in
Bloomfield, police said.
The men swiped eight pairs of Australian boots, valued at $1,480, from the Bloomfield Avenue store shortly after 11:30 a.m.
Wednesday, according to Sgt. Anthony Servedio, Bloomfield Police Department spokesperson.

were spotted by Officer Anthony Cicetti in a parked car on Thomas Street and Winsor Place, less than a half-mile away from the shoe

The men arrested are Lawrence Warren, 30, of East Orange; Jamar Elake, 30, of East Orange; James Coleman, 31, of East Orange; Tqwan
Lassiter Jr., 30, of Orange; and Darnell Butler, 29, of Newark. They were each charged with shoplifting.
All five were released on their own recognizance, Servedio
