About ichina.com 关于我们

ichina.com is an independent website about China-related video, written for learners of Chinese, travelers, and anyone interested in China.

It started as a simple random video player: a way to discover Chinese videos you would never find through search. It has grown into a place for guides and curated lists that explain what you are watching: the food, the music, the slang and the places behind the videos.

What you will find here

• Articles: original guides such as how to learn Chinese by watching videos, Chinese street food by region and a short history of Mandopop.
• The random Chinese video player: popular Chinese-language videos from YouTube, played one after another without repeats.

About the videos

We do not host or copy any videos. All videos are played through YouTube's official embedded player (or Bilibili's), so views count toward the original creators and their channels. If you are a creator and would like a video not to appear, email us and we will remove it.
